Welcome to our website
The project called “DROPS” has two aims.
First it is a project that aims at prolonging and nurturing each country’s traditions and culture by increasing students` cultural awareness while accepting each other’s identity and diversity to build on the European dimension in the long term.
Second it is an acronym of “Dialogue to Renew Old Philosophy of Schools”. We will have a look at our past, discuss and analyse the present situation of each schools and plan and create new methods for the future.
Through these “DROPS” we will initiate the mental and emotional development of our students by widening their knowledge and hence encouraging them to accept diversity and different opinions. It will contribute to show positive emotions towards parents and peers and we intend to involve them in an innovative school that will allow them to express their opinion about teaching, and learning methodologies.
“DROPS” is a project to make our students aware of values in tradition, to protect our environment, to use foreign languages as a tool of communication, to preserve old inside values in communities and it is also a project about how to develop the so called old school in the 21st century innovative school.

Report about the Czech meeting
Meeting in Brno, Czech Republic took place from March 9th till 13th, 2015. Monday was the arrival day for the groups and Friday was the day of departure. The theme of our meeting was DROPS OF COMMUNICATION and so the program was set up to corespond with it. The goal for us as well the main outcome was the common theatre play to be performed at the end of the meeting. It was to engage communication in English, share the experience of creating a play together and performing it in front of a large audience.
The pretask for the meeting was to prepare a short performance about communication. It was very interesting to see the different way each school grasped the topic as well as the means. Those were performed during the opening ceremony to the project participants.
While the students got to explore the school in international groups, the teachers were introduced to the Czech education system. In the afternoon the students took part in artistic workshops and could try some new pictorial technique and learn a Czech song which was later performed during the final ceremony.
Learning about the culture and history of the hosting country is part of the experience as knowing and understanding is for sure an essential part of effective communication among people. To fulfill this task we chose to visit Brno, a castle of Vranov nad Dyjí and the Cairn of Peace Memorial as the Napoleon wars affected a great part of Europe. Gathering such experiences and the time spend together always brought great opportunities to chat and engage in conversations.
All activities though aimed at the big theatre performance to be produced on Thursday. All project students participated in front of the local students and teachers. Vašek the Traveller was a play we chose to perform as it again was about communication among nations, learning about new cultures and developing friendships. It fit perfectly to what we wanted to achieve and we did.
